Our private candle workshops bring the Prairie Coast experience straight to you. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, hosting a bridal shower, planning a girls' night, or gathering your team for something different, we'll bring everything needed for a hands-on candle-making experience.

You provide the space and the people. We'll bring the candles, the scents, and a little bit of magic.

How It Works

1. Choose Your Gathering
Tell us a little about your event, including your preferred date, location, and approximate number of guests.

2. We'll Bring the Candle Bar
We travel to your chosen location with the supplies, fragrance options, vessels, and equipment needed for your workshop.

3. Pour, Create + Enjoy
We'll guide everyone through the candle-making process, from selecting a fragrance to pouring their own candle. No experience necessary!

4. Take Home Something Special
Everyone leaves with a handcrafted candle and a little reminder of time well spent together. Candles need time to cool and set before they can be transported, so we'll coordinate the best pickup or delivery arrangement for your event.

Service Area

We're based in Waterloo, Nebraska, and bring our mobile Candle Bar to Omaha, Elkhorn, Valley, and surrounding communities. Have somewhere else in mind? Just ask! Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area.

Group Size

Private workshops require a minimum of 8 paying guests. Planning something larger? We'd love to hear about it! We can accommodate larger gatherings depending on the event space and availability.

Workshop Length

Plan for approximately 60–90 minutes of guided candle-making fun. We'll arrive ahead of time to set up and take care of cleanup afterward. Candles also need additional time to cool and set before they can be transported.

What You'll Need

All we ask is that you provide a suitable indoor space with tables, chairs, and access to electricity. We'll bring the candle-making supplies, fragrance options, equipment, and guided instruction. We'll coordinate any additional setup needs before your event.

Private Workshop Pricing

Creating something special shouldn't be complicated! Our private workshops include all candle-making materials, your choice of fragrance, a candle vessel, and guided instruction from Prairie Coast.

Standard Candle Workshop | $40 per guest

Create your own 8 oz coconut-soy candle with a fragrance of your choice.

Signature Candle Workshop | $50 per guest

Enjoy the full candle-making experience with a larger 12 oz coconut-soy candle.

A minimum of 6 paying guests is required for private bookings. Additional travel fees may apply depending on your location.
